On the picture of the girl jumping, the first thing I noticed is the girl herself. Next I see the grass towering behind her. The girl stands out the most because of the contrast of color from the background, which is mainly green and grey. Another thing that further emphasizes the girl is the slight blur of her movement as she jumps. It reminds me of the incredible amount of energy and optimism children can have. The picture gives off a feeling of energy and playfulness.
(on the last picture) When I first look at the picture I notice a couple taking picture with a selfie stick and how they don't notice all the people walking around them. When I continue to look I notice the expression on Tommys face and how he seem to stand out to me, probably because it is a face that I recognize. This picture makes me remember when we went on the trip and makes me think about what did I notice around me and what did I miss when I was focused on taking pictures. It makes me feel a little sad that I am unable to see all the things I wish I could. When I look away I remember the expression on Tommys face.
